Moradian Will Attend French Symposium
Renowned Iranian sculptor Jamshid Moradian will take part in the 17th French Symposium ’Kamil Cludeh’, which will be held from May 12-20.He told Fars that out of 300 to 400 submitted to the event, which is held each year in France, some 20 works have been admitted.“My work called ’Rainbow and Rain’ is among those accepted for the symposium,“ he said.“The theme of the symposium is duality and I made a statue inspired by the beliefs of ancient people and war between god of drought and rain,“ he said.Commenting on his other overseas trips, he said that he will set out for Morocco on March 18 to get acquainted with that country’s art.“I have also sent a sculpture called ’Open-Mouthed Avaricious’ to the sculpture biennial in Sweden, which focuses on strong human sentiments,“ he said, adding that he is currently awaiting the results of the evaluation of the entries.
